Who do you provide care for?

Gold Medal Home Health supports individuals with developmental and/or intellectual disabilities throughout NJ. Typically, but not always, these individuals are 21 years of age or older.

Where does your agency provide care?

Our staff is available to work throughout NJ providing support and supervision in both the home and community settings.

Is your agency licensed and insured?

Yes, Gold Medal is fully licensed and insured to conduct business throughout New Jersey.

What are your rates?

Gold Medal works under the authority of the NJ Department of Developmental Disabilities (DDD). The billable rate for our services is typically determined by the DDD. 

What are your hours of Operations?

Gold Medal is available 24/7. 

The office staff typically works a Monday – Friday, 9-5 schedule. Our Direct Support Professional staff are also available 24/7.

What Is Gold Medal’s Privacy Policy?

It is our policy that all information considered confidential will not be disclosed to external parties. Confidential Information” includes, but is not limited to, computer processes, computer programs and codes, customer/staff lists, customer/staff preferences, customers/staff personal information, company financial data, marketing strategies, proprietary production processes, research and development strategies, pricing information, business and marketing plans, vendor information, software, databases, and information concerning the creation, acquisition or disposition of products and services. 

Can you provide services for vacations or temporary needs?

Yes, Gold Medal can provide temporary services which are often needed for vacation, work travel, and other short-term commitments. Most of the services we provide are longer term in nature which leads to stronger relationships with the individuals we serve.

What is a Direct Support Professional?

A Direct Support Professional (DSP) is someone who works directly with people who have intellectual or developmental disabilities. DSPs aim to assist people in realizing their full potential. They help people become integrated and engaged in their community.

What are the requirements to be a Direct Support Professional for Gold Medal Home Health?

A DSP must have at least one year of personal or professional experience working with an individual with a developmental disability before they can apply to be a DSP with Gold Medal Home Health. If you do not have a current CPR AED for adults & First Aid certification, Gold Medal can help facilitate this training at no cost to you. A valid drivers license & reliable transportation is also very beneficial.
